How can we help you?

We know you have many questions when it comes to your dental care – and rightly so!

Dr. Sigman spends a lot of time educating patients about their oral health so they have clear understanding of their treatment needs, and we always welcome questions from our patients.

Here are a few of the questions we hear the most. If your question is not answered here, feel free to give us a call.

Yes! We pride ourselves on our customer service and treating our patients likes guests. We will always make every effort to get you seen the same day for any concern or emergency you may have. Call us at 720-277-3925 to schedule your appointment.

We understand that cost is sometimes a concern when it comes to dental treatment, and we never want finances to keep our patients from getting the high quality dental care they deserve. Dr. Sigman takes the time to educate you about your oral health and the treatment you might need, and we’ll also ensure that you understand the cost of your treatment prior to starting.

If you have dental insurance, we’re happy to help you understand how your benefit works and navigate what it covers so you can make the most of your insurance benefit. We’ll also take the time to pre-authorize your dental treatment prior to your procedure so you’ll understand exactly what’s covered and there will be no surprises.

Besides accepting cash, checks, and most major credit cards for payment, we also work with CareCredit, which is a third party company that can help patients break their treatment cost into affordable monthly payments. CareCredit makes treatment accessible to all our patients, and they even offer interest-free plans for patients who qualify.

We're happy to discuss your treatment needs and cost with you to help you select the right payment option for your needs and budget.

Unfortunately, most dental issues will progressively get worse and lead to bigger and more costly problems if they’re left untreated.

A dental infection, for example, may have started off as tooth decay that you could’ve treated with a simple dental filling. If you don't remove the decay and restore your tooth with a dental filling, the decay is allowed to progress and it may lead to an infection, which will then require a more invasive root canal to effectively treat it. Infection that’s left untreated can not only spread to other critical areas of your body, it can also result in tooth loss.

When it comes to dental treatment, Dr. Sigman is conservative and diagnoses with integrity. He also uses technology such as the intraoral camera and digital images to explain and show you exactly what’s needed and why. Our goal is to educate you about your oral health so you can make the right decisions about your dental care and treatment. If you have options, he’ll help you select the dental treatment that will best suit your needs, budget, and lifestyle.

We're here to be your partners in optimum oral health so you can maintain a beautiful smile and maximize your athletic performance.

There are many factors in treating worn down teeth. Dr. Sigman will review your case and give you options for how to best help your smile, from simple polishing of the worn edges, to bonding, to veneers and even crowns. Every situation is different, and we are happy to work with you to come up with a solution that works the best for you.

The answer is – yes.

Unfortunately, many dental problems don't hurt until they are VERY bad. In this way, dental problems are similar to conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. They don't "hurt;” however, that doesn't mean you don't treat them. Neglecting your dental treatment until it hurts leads to bigger, more invasive, and more costly issues down the road.

We believe in prevention at Performance Dental Center. You can rest assured that Dr. Sigman is very conservative in his diagnosis and treatment, so his recommendations are truly what is needed to protect and benefit your oral health. We recommend that you see us every six months so we can monitor your oral health for issues such as oral cancer, tooth decay, cavities, and periodontal (gum disease), which can all be more successfully treated when detected early on. Professional cleanings remove the excess plaque buildup that causes many of these conditions, and examinations allow us to spot problems in their earliest stages.

We hope to see you regularly for cleanings and checkups so we can help you be proactive about any dental issues that may arise. This way, you’ll be able to maintain optimum oral health with the least invasive treatment possible. Be sure to call us to schedule your next appointment.

At Performance Dental Center, we welcome patients of all ages to receive high quality dentistry in a warm and laid-back environment. We like to start seeing our youngest patients around the age of two, and we look forward to building a relationship with your family.

While our office is modern and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it’s also friendly and inviting. You may even get a visit from one of our office dogs who improve patient and doctor morale and offer their support.

Another difference you’ll notice at Performance Dental Center is a focus on sports dentistry. We know that oral health affects your overall health and well being, which is important to the performance of the athletes we work with. Dr. Sigman is the only dentist in Boulder who is a member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry, which qualifies him to provide dentistry to the athletes of Boulder both on and off the field. You’ll find him working with many of the sports teams in Boulder, as well as seeing athletes at our office. We'll help you achieve and maintain optimum oral health so you can maximize your athletic performance.

We know you’ll love the experience you have here at Performance Dental Center, and we look forward to serving you!

Comfort is a top priority at Performance Dental Center, and Dr. Sigman makes every effort to make your treatment comfortable and pain-free. He uses the best dental anesthetics and carefully delivers them to ensure that you don't feel anything during your procedure. Our patients are often surprised at how comfortable their treatment is.

Our goal is to deliver the best experience possible every time you visit our office, and so we offer special amenities in our office such as beverages to enjoy while you wait and massage chairs to help you relax and feel at ease during your procedure.

For patients who feel fearful or anxious when it comes to their dental appointments, we offer nitrous oxide. This breathable gas is administered through a mask worn during your procedure, and it works quickly to help you feel relaxed and at ease. It leaves your system immediately after the mask is removed, and you’ll be able to drive yourself home and resume your normal activities. Whether you need a cleaning or a dental crown, nitrous can be used during any type of dental procedure. It’s also safe for children.

We're happy to discuss your options for using nitrous during your dental visits.
